Mrs. Albright

Today’s post is just a comment on an article. I wanted to present this to show who supports the Iran deal and why. Even Madeleine Albright, Secretary of State under the Clinton Administration, is coming out in agreement with the Iran deal. She correctly points out that engaging in dialogue is important. Without a discussion we digress into fear and base our thoughts more on paranoia and “what if” scenarios that prove less reliable than actually discussing the issues.

Read her statement here:

The Persian Spring

Opening up doors to trade benefits both parties. When one sells what they produce and another buys then both receive the benefits. One gains by buying a product with either superior quality, lower price, or even both. The Market provides services which compliment both. The other gains by being able to sell a product or service for money. You gotta spend money to make money.

Iran is in a state of revolution. No, not a political revolution but an economical revolution. For the first time in nearly a half a century relations will be normalized. This isn’t just for America but for the world at large. Many are catching on to the possibilities of what they could do with the Iranian market.

I advocate trade and Capitalism as the true means of peace. Both benefit by mutual trade. Whereas, war benefits nobody. Many think the victor has benefited when in reality the victor has redirected resources to build products that get destroyed. I cannot detail what may happen but we will be seeing a very interesting Iran in the coming years.

Although we are beginning to enter the winter season I feel that Iran has truly entered a Spring time of possibilities. I for one, cannot wait to see that happen

Iran’s Agressive act of defense.

There are articles on the Internet depicting a silhouette with a gun to their head in a symbol of suicide. The quote to the side says, “We welcome no war, nor do we initiate any war, but if any war happens, the one who will emerge loser will be the agressive and criminal U.S.”

First, “We welcome no war…” Iranian officials are reminding the American politicians that war is not the meaning of this message or their stance. They have an agressive stance but clearly in only defending their country. This is backed up by the fact that Iran isn’t know as invading any country. In fact, it has been hundreds of years since Iran invaded a foreign nation. That cannot be said about America which has invaded dozens of countries in the last 100 years let alone counting all the wars since it’s founding time.

Secondly, “nor do we initiate any war…” Iran was overthrown in 1953 by a CIA coup under full knowledge of Eisenhower and his administration. The Dulles brothers (John Foster and Alan) used Kermit Roosevelt as the agent provocateur in Operation AJAX. The CIA has even confirmed Operation AJAX and admitted they overthrew Iran in 1953 ( The Islamic Revolution of 1979 was a direct response to the Dictatorship of the Shah (King) of Iran Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi. So 1979 most likely would not have happened if 1953 didn’t happen. So ironically, America’s foreign policy in 1953 (the same foreign policy as today) is responsible for the current Iranian regime having the power that it has today. Iran didn’t initiate agression towards America. America started this agressive action. Iran is merely being agressive in a defensive stance. There is no real threat from an individual that claims to fiercely defend themselves once attacked. That’s rather honorable as the bully of the playground is the real culprit because he lives by offensive agression. Nobody should defend a bully.

Thirdly, “…but if any war happens, the one who will emerge loser will be the agressive and criminal U.S.” Bullies shouldn’t be tolerated so who in their right mind would defend them? Again, Iran is stating in action form that should the US initiate a conflict they will punish America in a purely defensive war. Don’t go looking for a fight and you won’t have one. Iran will only defend itself from within its borders. What kind of threat against the America is that? It’s a defensive one.

In conclusion, we are at a time when propaganda is prevalent. Don’t allow yourself to be emotionally charged and intellectually ignorant as you concede your thoughts to a mindset. Think for yourself and won’t be so quick to fall into error. Now is a time to foster healthy respect and a mind of peace with Iran. The time for mindless agression has passed. Pursuing peace can best be obtained by trading freely with one another. The greatest benefit we have is to foster peace by buying and selling rather than antagonizing and demonizing one another. Let’s be peacemakers and turn our swords into plowshares as we work together to foster peace for our children and children to come.
